Some processes are too complex, too regulated, or too tangled across systems for an off-the-shelf tool to touch. That is the work we take on. We design and build automation and AI agents for businesses where the integrations are genuinely difficult, the rules are not optional, and getting it wrong has consequences.
Architect-led · Complex integrations and high-security environments · Melbourne and Australia-wide
Our automation work is led by a solutions architect who has spent his career designing systems at university and corporate scale, where the integrations are genuinely complex, the security requirements are real, and the rules are not optional. That is the standard we build to, and it is the reason clients bring us the problems other people have already turned down.
Automation follows rules. When this happens, do that. It is reliable, it is cheap to run, and it handles a great deal of what currently moves through your business by hand. An AI agent goes further: it handles work that needs a judgement call, reading a case and working out what it actually requires, pulling the right information together across systems, and knowing when the answer is to stop and hand back to a person.
Most serious systems need both, and the hard part is almost never the tool. It is knowing which decisions can safely be handed to software and which cannot, and being able to prove the difference afterwards to a regulator, an auditor, or a client whose data you were trusted with.
Four patterns account for most of the work we take on. They have one thing in common: an off-the-shelf tool could not do it.
Getting your platforms to operate as one system, including the ones never designed to talk to each other. Legacy databases, industry-specific software, and the tools your team actually lives in every day.
Not a chatbot bolted onto your website. An agent that takes a job from start to finish, makes the judgement calls it needs to along the way, and knows exactly when to hand back to a human.
Intake, extraction, validation and filing where accuracy is not negotiable and the volume is well beyond what a person could reasonably check by hand.
Processes where every step has to be logged, traceable and defensible later, and where the automation has to satisfy the rules as reliably as the people doing it now.
Already using Claude across your team? Automation is usually the next step after training, and it builds on the workflows your people are already comfortable with.
Not how the process is documented. How your team really does it, including the workarounds and the bits that live in someone’s head. That gap is usually where the real problem is hiding.
At the same time we map the stack underneath: what your systems can already do, what they can safely be made to do, and where your security and compliance constraints sit. That research happens before anything is designed, not after something breaks.
The architecture is settled before code is written, so what we build first is designed for where the whole system is going. Then one workflow goes live properly, in front of your team, running on your real work.
Small in scope, never small in engineering. The first thing we build does not have to be torn out to make room for the second.
Your team gets shown how it runs, what to do when something looks wrong, and how to tell us when it needs to change. You own what we build, and it is documented properly, so it does not stop working the day we stop talking.
Bring us the process you have been told is too complicated to automate. We will tell you straight whether it can be done, what it would genuinely take, and whether we are the right team to do it. No charge, and no obligation to go further.
Tell us about the process that keeps breaking, the systems that will not talk to each other, or the compliance burden nobody wants to own. We will tell you honestly what it would take. Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a contract.
